MUSIC is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Its common elements are pitch, rhythm, dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture.
POLITICAL SCIENCE is a social science discipline concerned with the study of the state, government, and politics. Aristotle defined it as the study of the state.
ECONOMICS is the social science that analyzes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Political economy was the earlier name for the subject, but economists in the latter 19TH century suggested ‘economics’ as a shorter term for ‘economic science’.
DEFENCE AND STRATEGIC STUDIES is related to defence and political science. It covers all strategic and domestic issues that affect the security and defence of the nation.
