DAV College offers a housing option for outstation girl students. The residential hostel, set up in 2009, is located within the College Campus. The hostel is a four-storey building with 67 rooms, each room accommodates three girls. These spacious and ventilated rooms are comfortably furnished with beds with mattresses, study tables, chairs & cupboards for each resident.

Additional modern amenities provided in the hostel are: a well-equipped reading room with daily newspapers & magazines, internet facility, a Table Tennis room, a recreation/common room, sophisticated mess & dining hall. The on-campus residential facility is offered to a full-time undergraduate & postgraduate students admitted to the College. Due to the limited availability of accommodation, admission to the hostel is granted on first come first served basis. There is a warden to look after all the problems of the hostellers. Without the permission of the parents and signature of the warden, the girls are not allowed to step out of the hostel. The hostel administrative functionaries, with co-operation of the Hostel Students, seek to make the hostel as secure, comfortable & happy a place as home.
